Claiming your winning prize

Prizes up to and including $1,000

Where to claim:

Claims can be made at most lottery retailers. Winners should check with the retailer to ensure they have sufficient cash to pay the prize.

  • If the retailer does not have the funds available to pay the prize, the player can take their ticket to another retailer (view a list of retailers to find one close to you) to claim their prize.
  • If the player is having difficulty finding a retailer with sufficient funds, they may contact the Lotteries Yukon office for assistance.

How to claim:

Bring your winning ticket.

Prizes over $1,000

Where to claim:

You may visit the Lotteries Yukon office where staff can assist with claiming their prize by sending their winning ticket and required forms to WCLC by mail.

How to claim:

In order to claim a WCLC prize over $1,000, the player must:

  • complete and sign a Claim Form
  • complete a Customer Info Sheet and
  • provide at least one piece of government-issued photo ID.

Prizes of $10,000 or more

Where to claim:

Much like prizes over $1,000, you may visit the Lotteries Yukon office where staff can assist with claiming their prize by sending their winning ticket and required forms to WCLC by mail.

How to claim:

If the prize is greater than $10,000, the same process as Prizes over $1,000 will be followed with the following exceptions:

  • two pieces of government-issued ID are required and
  • up to three photos of the player will be taken in the Lotteries Yukon office for promotional purposes, as per the release on the back of every WCLC lottery product.

Prize disputes

What to do if there's a prize dispute

For players who are disputing a prize, or are having difficulty claiming a prize at a retail location, the staff at Lotteries Yukon can assist by reviewing the ticket, and if required forwarding it to WCLC for analysis and prize claim processing.
